The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has not only expanded over the world, but it has also been our major topic of discussion each day. At the same time, the pandemic has had a drastically negative impact on most businesses.

According to our reported sales volume data in 2020, a revenue decrease due to the pandemic is only 10%. However, the challenges posed by the pandemic have formed out creativity and resourcefulness. Skyline Composites overwhelmingly feel the pivots it has made over the past year will have a long-term positive impact, empowering businesses to be more agile and nimble in the future.

It’s a surprise if your company or industry hasn’t been affected by the pandemic, with employees needing to work overtime or hike up production to meet spikes in demand for products or services. Skyline Composites is a good example.

As a diversified plastic products supplier, we have been focusing on domestic and international markets with more reasonable and competitive market pricing. With an increased demand for public health promotion and governmental culture propaganda throughout China and for advertising projects, we have seen an increased demand for our products at the beginning of 2021.

We have received a record number of orders of plastic sheets since the virus first occurred in China, meaning that we have received increased demand and had our best-selling products temporarily out of stock. With this high demand, it has been a challenge for us that we have been able to achieve. Whilst stock levels depleted quicker than we ever anticipated, we extended delivery times to provide more time to fulfill orders in our production and warehouse. During March, we even made the decision to temporarily pause our marketing efforts to reduce the flow of orders to allow us to keep up with the workflow. But overseas orders are our priority to make the delivery.

PVC foam boards and PS foam boards are not only found in supermarkets but also found in many supermarkets, retail stores, pubs, restaurants and cafes, schools, hospitals, nursing homes, etc.
